BIMTECH has the provision of giving scholarships to meritorious candidates.
Birla Institute of Management Technology offers scholarships of Rs 2 lakh based on the candidates' merit. These scholarships are available in the form of a partial fee waiver. Students who have received an 85%ile or more in the CAT or XAT entrance exams are eligible for the scholarships.
Candidates with a minimum of 85%ile in CAT, XAT or GMAT exams are eligible. The scholarship is Rs 2 lakh and will be provided by partial waiver of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th instalments of the tuition fee.
Students with the first two positions as per TGPA in all courses will be eligible for this scholarship each term, up to the 4th term, provided they clear the exam in a single attempt.
Professor Jagdish Sheth, Professor Emeritus (Marketing Area) of Emory University, USA donated Rs 5 lakh to BIMTECH to create two scholarships. BIMTECH further contributed another Rs 5 lakh making it a Rs 10 lakh Endowment to create two scholarships. The award ceremony takes place during the Annual Convocation of the institute.
An amount of Rs 50,000 is given to students submitting a Doctoral thesis and evaluated during the academic year.
An amount of Rs 50,000 is given to students whose CGPA of 1st and 2nd year will be considered based on Results up to 6th Term.
A scholarship of Rs 1 lakh each year is granted for 3 consecutive years.
Birla Institute of Management Technology offers scholarships to the candidates with a brilliant academic record and also to the students who are financially not so sound. Offering scholarships to candidates is another way of supporting and promoting the essence of education and literacy.
BIMTECH encourages meritorious students by offering them scholarship worth Rs 2 lakh. There are two types of scholarships offered and the details of these scholarships are given below. Any of these scholarships can be availed by the ones who successfully score 85% or more in entrances such as CAT, XAT and GMAT regardless of the course they have opted for. This scholarship can be claimed in terms of fee waiver at defined intervals and semesters. Candidates with an 85% or more marks in the above-mentioned entrance exams will be asked to show their entrance scorecard at the time of submission of the first installment of the asked tuition fee.
