Birla Institute of Technology admission process takes place online and offline. The notifications regarding the same are released on the website. One must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to apply for admission at BIT. Admissions are given on basis of merit and total intake capacity.
Birla Institute of Technology Eligibility Criteria for 2024
- Undergraduate course admissions at Birla Institute of Technology are granted on a merit basis which is determined by considering 10+2 exam marks or equivalent examination grades. Minimum score criteria are applicable to a few science and engineering courses and English subject marks are considered for some of the degree courses. Scores of various entrance exams are also accepted and given proper importance at BIT.
- For admissions in Postgraduate courses at the Birla Institute of Technology, graduation is mandatory. Further, scores of various entrance exams are also given weightage and an interview/ Group discussion round may be conducted by the Institute before declaring the final selected candidates' list,
- An Integrated M.Sc degree course is also available at BIT, it lasts for five years and consists of various interesting subjects. Admissions to this course is given on basis of AIR in JEE-Main through Central Seat Allocation Board/ Joint seat Allocation Authority.

Birla Institute of Technology, Jaipur was established in the year 1995. It is a deemed university. The university functions under the academic guidance of the parent university Birla Institute of Technology. Eligibility Criteria for BIT Scholarships
- B.Arch Scholarship is given on the basis of AIR Rank in JEE. 100% scholarship is provided to students securing rank upto 100 (general category) and upto 500 ( SC/ST category) 75% and 50% scholarship is also there for rankholders above the aforesaid limit.
- B.Tech scholarship too is granted on merit basis by considering AIR of JEE examination. 100% scholarship is given to students securing rank upto 1000 on merit in genral category. Similarly, 75% and 50% options are also available for ranks upto 2500 and 4000 respectively. The limit for SC/ST category is different.
- All these scholarships are granted at the time of admission and in order to continue the students need to score the required marks in following semester examinations and abide by the rules as specified.
