IIIT Guwahati Campus Facilities: Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati is a fairly new campus. IIIT Guwahati started its operations at the new facility mid-2018. The campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology is well built and well-equipped as well. The campus includes living accommodations for the students of IIIT Guwahati. The hostel can accommodate 400 male students and 100 female students The hostels for both the males and the females are separated. Most of the rooms at the hostel are single occupancy room with a few that are can be shared among two people. The hostels have their own common dining rooms and recreational rooms. The campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati is well connected and provides the students with WI-Fi connection with 1 Gbps speed.

The campus is also equipped with a library that is filled with enough books and e-books which can be used by the students for their academics. The library is open not only for the students but also for the faculty of the Indian Institute of Information Technology as well. The students can also access the contents of the library via their own laptops, mobiles, tablets, etc since the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati are fully air-conditioned as well as fitted with projectors.

The Campus also comes well equipped with laboratories for each of the courses that are offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati. Laboratories are required for the comprehensive growth of the student at the field he/she is studying in. The laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment which will complement the academic growth of the student. The students are allowed to conduct research work under the guidance of the designated faculty as well as to conduct experiments in groups of two or even alone. There are a total of seven different kinds of laboratories that are available for use by the students of IIIT Guwahati.
