Thanjavur Medical College is located in a vast landscape of 228 acres of land. It provides training for 150 MBBA, 67 postgraduate students of various specialties, 6o Pharmacy students, and 125 students of nursing every year. It also admits students for various certificate courses introduced by the Government of Tamil Nadu for Paramedical Technicians such as Anesthesia Technician, ECG Technician, and Theater Technician. The college has hostel accommodation for its students, both male, and female. The college campus has vast expanses of land recently cleared of all sludge allowing for a vast college ground.
