So, Odisha University of Technology and Research (Formerly College of Engineering and Technology) is where academic excellence meets excellency , making it a top choice for those seeking a quality education in a supportive and vibrant environment. You enter this university through exams like JEE and OJEE as it's a government institute of Odisha.

Additionally, the mess food is renowned for it's taste, but sometimes they do not maintain the quality.
Overall: Considering placements and facilities college is good but the ifra feels old,the college life is hectic you won't get time for other activities, the attendance policy and other disciplinary rules are very strict.
Placement: Overall placements are good and mostly all people who score minimum required cgpa get a job, but there is no uniformity in packages offered to cs and it branches compared to that offered to the core branches..But overall placements are above average.
Infrastructure: The classrooms feels very conjusted the benches are not comfortable at all.The buildings are old.Although few new classrooms are also made in last few months which looks pretty well but still the majority infra is not good..in additon to that the library and reading area are just two separate small rooms... Atleast college should provide a good reading area and library.
Faculty: Most of the faculties are nice and do care about students but there are few who neither teach the subject nicely nor behave with students in proper way.But overall most of the teachers are good
Hostel: Most probably you won't get a hostel in the first year because of less number of hostels, otherwise according to hostel charge it's decent and got all the basic facilities, you will get a gym also and filtered drinking water.
