You can be admitted to the B.Sc Agriculture programme at the Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering if you fulfil some eligibility criteria. These are:

• You must have passed the Class 12th examination with compulsory physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology subjects.
• You must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2 examination.
• You must have appeared for and qualified for the ICAR AIEEA (UG) entrance examination.

The ICAR AIEEA (UG) entrance examination is a national-level examination conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for admission to B.Sc. Agriculture courses in various agricultural universities and institutes across India.

Sc Agriculture (Genetics and Plant Breeding)The minimum age required for enrolling in the programme is 16yrs. Students may be given an option to go for a 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. There is also an option to join a partner university abroad for a semester. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE programme to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios is given.
