CG PET exam comprises 50 questions from each physics, chemistry, and mathematics syllabus. There are a total of 150 questions in the CG PET 2025 exam. Some of the high weightage chapters in the CG PET maths syllabus are algebra - 8%, trigonometry - 7%, 2-D geometry - 6%, calculus - 7%, vector - 6%, etc. Some of the high weightage chapters in the CG PET physics syllabus are thermodynamics - 6%, gravitational - 5%, modern physics - 5%, waves & simple harmonic motion - 4%, etc. At the same time, some of the high weightage chapters in the chemistry syllabus are thermodynamics - 4%, solutions - 4%, atomic structure - 4%, and equilibrium - 3%. There will be around 18 questions from the inorganic chemistry syllabus, 12 from the organic chemistry syllabus, and around 20 from the physical chemistry syllabus.
