Overall: I have completed B. Tech mechanical engineering from college of engineering adoor in 2019. The faculties are very friendly. Campus is superb. There are two batches for mechanical engineering. Syllabus is based on kerala technical university. There is a badminton court, football ground, cricket ground and basketball court. Lab facilities are very nice.
Placement: A placement cell is available including teachers, students, former students and PTA. Every year top companies recruit from the college. As it is a govt college the degree is valuable for best jobs.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained. There is a blackboard, digital screen etc. There is sufficient lighting and ventilation. Labs are well equipped. Modern machines are available.
Faculty: Very knowledgeable and friendy teachers.Each student is given special care and trained separately.Other college staffs are also friedly and helpful.Most of the teachers are experts
Hostel: Nearby college hostel available. Food is good at college hostel. Warden is good person and very friendly. Also there are many hostels for boys and girls at cheap rates
Overall: Almost 75-80% students get placed every year. The highest package is 7lpa, and the lowest is 1lpa. Many national and international companies like Infosys, Tata, Amazon etc. visit the campus.
Placement: Around 10% of students were placed. Packages are around 2 lack per year to 6 lack per year. Top recruiting companies are L and T, Burst, cognizant, 10% of students get internship from Burst, top roles offered were assistant engineer, programme tester.
Infrastructure: College provides average facilities. Labs are good. Our department is good in all aspects. Classrooms are equipped with the latest equipment. The hostel facilities are average. The food served in the hostel is not good. The hostel is not worth the money paid. The Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated, and helpful.The course curriculum is a bit old. The syllabus is not up to date. A few subjects are helpful. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready.
Hostel: There is no proper cleanliness around the campus. The interaction between teachers and students can be improved by the communication by the different programs.
