CBSE Class 12th Arts Syllabus 2026: CBSE has released the Class 12th annual curriculum for the academic year 2026 on its official website at cbse.gov.in. CBSE Class 12th curriculum includes all the important elements like itinerary of the events, Syllabus, Scheme of examination, approach for exams, grading system, marking pattern and such relevant information. CBSE releases stream wise or more precisely subject wise syllabus for Class 12th students.
Candidates appearing for the CBSE Class 12 exam in 2025 should thoroughly review the syllabus to understand the chapter-wise marking scheme. For Arts stream subjects, the board exam will include competency-based questions—such as MCQs, case-based, and source-based integrated questions—carrying 50% of the total marks. Additionally, multiple-choice (MCQ) response-type questions will account for 20% of the paper, while short and long answer-type questions will make up the remaining 30%.
