Dayananda Sagar University is a private university, situated in Bangalore. It was established in the year 2014 and is a component of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions founded in the 1960s by the visionary educationist late Sri Dayananda Sagar. The university is managed by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeth Trust in Bengaluru. Dayananda Sagar University is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with the NAAC “A” grade.
