Placement: Placement scenes are quite okay. Companies do come sometime or maybe not but the exposure is very nice and make you very well prepared for the outside world.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite decent. The buildings are quite in a good condition. There are mainly 3 buildings in the campus:a) Old block b) New block c) Science block Also canteen and cafeteria are also there in the college. Washrooms are in good condition. Greenery is also there
Faculty: Outstanding faculties are there with great number of experience in teaching. Very helpful and inspiring teachers and professors are there. Also lab staffs are quite good.
Hostel: There is no hostel facilities as of now in the college campus.Maybe after some year it will come into action. The rest will be known by you in the near future.
Placement: I am a student of Deshbandhu college kalkaji (Delhi University). I am a student of mathematics honours but I have no idea about placement but there is society in our college name is placement cell and the society works very well .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college (Deshbandhu college)is good and our college are well mentioned.our college has a best library in Delhi University. I feel very happy
Faculty: Our faculties members are very good they help us every time
Overall: Deshbandhu College in New Delhi offers a holistic educational experience that exceeds expectations. With its vibrant campus atmosphere and dedicated faculty, it stands as a beacon of academic excellence. The college fosters a conducive environment for intellectual growth, encouraging students to explore diverse fields of study and hone their skills. Deshbandhu College have well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, and modern infrastructure, enhancing the learning experience. The college also promotes extracurricular activities, allowing students to pursue their interests outside the classroom and develop a well-rounded personality.like ncc;nss The strong alumni network further enhances opportunities for students, providing them with valuable connections and mentorship.
Placement: Foe the placement of students there is a socity known as placement cell in which different groop were divided and then the call up the company and then company came and hire. But from thsi collge very less placement happen.
Infrastructure: Deshbandhu college is well designed and decorate. It's ranks 10 in nirf ranking in Delhi University. It's area is approx 10 acre. It's has a good library facilitiy. But the area which is provided to college Is spacious and good
Faculty: Behaviour air each and every member of the faculty is good. Each and evry teacher of our faculty are always helpful to us always the support us to to research and many other activities
Hostel: Student who thinks that hostel facility is available in this campus but this is a myth about it this campus does not have hostel facility.some du north campus have facility of hostel
Overall: I tons of memories I have some are good some are excellent but not a single memory is worst especially seniors are very helpful. And principal are very ground to earth person.
Placement: Zero company visit in college for placement especially for bsc physics science you have to search your job by yourself. And we know job open after bsc is very minimal. So try to going for higher studies.
Infrastructure: When I enrolled in college infrastructure is not so good. College looking like a normal every government building but now college work very hard for betterment in infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty much helpful in nature even they help you after class also but not everyone in not on my list but most of the teachers are good and help you to enhance your score
Hostel: College not provide any hostel facility but you easily find numbers of PG and rented flat over there mostly students choose govind Puri because price affordable
Overall: So it has been almost 6 months for me in Deshbandhu College and I have passed my sem 1 and moved on to sem 2. Tbh it has been a not so bad journey till now. And I really really wish to see more upon my journey ahead in the college and my college life.
Placement: I have heard from my seniors and teachers about the placement camps that are done. I too have researched and came to know about actually nice placements provided by my college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite appealing to eyes. The college is spread out on a huge scale of land and has a great campus as well for students. There are several different blocks for every department.
Faculty: To be honest, I don't really know how to reply to this. But, almost all of the faculty are seniors as it is a government college. There are good teachers as well not so nice teachers.
Overall: Deshbandhu college is not so much popular in DU colleges like other well known colleges like Hansraj college, KMC, Miranda house , etc. but it has the potential to give you nothing less than those well named colleges with a decent and well suited environment for everyone with versatile crowd and opportunities for academics as well as co-curricular which definitely brings the best version out of you. The college have lot of students enhancing their talent and skills by involving with different cultural groups and societies guided by teachers like for each and every skills. Moreover in the latest survey of NAAC the college acquired A++ grade rating with around 3.65 ratings which is self sufficient to describe the environment of the college.
Placement: The college has it's own placement cell named Cyfle which brings out the maximum placements opportunities and keep you updated about all. The recent average package from this college for a graduated student is around 4.15LPA which keeps on improving year by year. Apart from this, students can engage themselves with the professors in their ongoing research works too for a different and interesting experience to know the world. Moreover many students are seeing carry their talents forward in their life after shaping them from the opportunities and experience they got from the extra curricular groups and societies. The presence of NCC in the college and that too very actively growing is also a boon for the students who wants to be in the service of the nation.
Infrastructure: Divided in three different blocks namely science, old, and new block in general further represent after the names of well known personalities like Dr. B.R Ambedkar, P.C Ray, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam sir etc. having a common ground area with separated archery ground, NCC cadets area, volleyball and tennis court, Botanical garden the pavements all along. The college has one of the biggest library among the colleges of Delhi Universities having a great collection and well conditioned hall and AC rooms. The topography of college ground is in such a way that all the rain water flows to the amphi-theatre made in the ground beneath which there is a huge tank situated to collect the entire water and similarly few more tanks are also there if we take the entire campus making it possible to maximize the reusing the water as much as we can and along with the solar panels installed in the college it acquired the status of green college with zero reliability on the services like water and electricity from the Delhi government.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is well experienced and well mannered especially of science stream with whom I am encountered in my graduation. Life sciences being a versatile course with three departments included giving me the pleasure to grow under the guidance of multiple faculties. Leaving few who are just appointed in the college, I had a great experience till now with the teachers. Maximum of the teachers had their doctorate degree and many of them are teaching after being a part of some great research works which you can find over the net published or some in the form of paperback publications. Every teacher is special in their own field and are so much supportive and dedicated towards their passion of teaching. having around 15 departments in total with 150+ teachers if there's someone saying that Deshbandhu college has the most doctorate teachers then I won't disagree to them because as far as I know today, I didn't saw a college in DU having this fascinating figures about the number and qualifications of the faculty.
Hostel: The hostels are not available by the college but you can find decent to well maintained PGs and Flats according to your monthly budget near around the campus. The area around is well connected with multiple transport systems having all the daily life facilities.
