He has assured us that college will have hostel facility in near future. Freshers can stay in paying guests and flats during their graduation. Yes it feels sorry that college that is good in providing education and has good infrastructures is not providing any hostel facility.
Overall: I have joined prestigious Dyal Singh College (University of Delhi) in the month of September. I have made many good friends there, so life becomes easy when you have good people around. College has very good infrastructures like library, auditorium, sport ground, rose garden, butterfly garden, canteen, etc. Dyal Singh offers plethora of courses like Bcom, Bcom Honours, Bsc Honours, Maths Honours, Ba Economics Honours, English Honours, etc. Crowd is awesome here, you can literally find people from variety of religion and cultures. College is suited at Lodhi road, South Delhi and it has very good metro connection. JLN stadium metro station is located near the college and it has a nearby bus stand where you can find busses. Faculty is one of the largest in Delhi University, they are simply best in their respective work area. Teachers are supportive and cooperative in nature. One can find placements in the courses like Bcom, Bcom Honours and Economics Honours but courses like Bsc, Ba lacks placement. I have been enjoying my time at Dyal Singh College and I wish you guys come here and be a part of unforgettable journey.
Placement: Dyal Singh College also has a placement cell that helps it's student to get placed in reputed companies. Placement cell of Dyal Singh College is a collaborative team of college students and college authorities. According to 2023 average placement of college stood at 6 lakh per annum and highest was upto 36 lakh per annum. College offers internship too.
Infrastructure: Dyal Singh College has the largest library in Delhi University, library has uncountable books and texts, beside library it has canteen, gardens, amphitheatre, sport complex, sport ground, computer lab, science lab, etc. One can find air conditioning in some of the classes and in library.
Faculty: Teachers are helping hands in every college. Faculty of college is great and are best in their respective work area. They help students whenever needed and they all are very supportive and cooperative. They give their 100 percent in their work. I think teachers need to understand that students are from different backgrounds and medium, so they should adapt comprehensive technique of teaching like they should explain concepts in easy language.
Hostel: Dyal Singh College does not provide any hostel facility but students have talked to principal regarding this backdraw of college and he assured that college will have hostel facility in near future.
