Library of an institute is a treasure –house of authentic and valuable information that support the educational and research needs. It facilitates learning and enrichment of knowledge. It serves the need for enhancement of quality of education. The spacious library with requisite furniture and a reading room provides the right environment for students to enrich their knowledge by studying the books written by eminent authors - both national and international - and also by browsing reputed national and international journals, magazines, etc. Our college library is functioning with a huge floor area and is a state of the art infrastructure which provides comfortable learning environment with resource material of the highest quality, to teach and learn skills needed for academic inquiry and lifelong learning., which is continuously being updated with new volumes of books and journals. The library is enriched with a vast knowledge bank of dental text and reference books. Computers have been provided with CD- ROMS of medical subjects in the library. The expanding clinical knowledge and the complexities of health care are a challenge for health care providers. Research, clinical knowledge and skills updating is essential in Health sciences education. To provide commensurate with current health care and research for our Faculty and students, we have subscribed many dental journals. Book bank facility is provided to the students through which each student gets requisite text books on all subjects according to the academic requirements of different years. This facility is in addition to the students' entitlement of books issued against library cards. Hostel A majority of the students come from other cities and towns. Therefore, residential facilities becomes a prime task. Air-conditioned and non A/C hostels for boys and girls separately are provided with attached toilets facilities. The living conditions are comfortable and meet the requirements of the students. Food is Hygienic and nutritious. At all times safety and security of the inmates residing in the hostels is ensured with. T.V. rooms with Dish connection also for entertainment. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The College takes special care of the hostels as it knows that hostel is like a home away from home for the students as long as they stay in hostels. Hence all care is taken to ensure that the facilities provided in the hostels are as much student-friendly as possible. Spacious rooms with necessary furniture for taking rest/sleeping as well as studying are provided to the students. Air-conditioned and non air-conditioned rooms are available for both boys and girls. Power back-up facility is provided on 24x7 basis and round-the-clock security arrangement is in place in all the hostels. The students are required to maintain discipline at all times and not allowed to leave the hostel without prior permission of the competent authority. Rules related to different matters concerning the hostels are recorded in the hostel manual and the students are advised to ensure strict compliance of the rules. Regular supervision of the hostels is being carried out by the hostel wardens. As far as discipline is concerned, the rule of 'zero tolerance' is strictly followed. Sports & Games Facilities for outdoor games like Basket ball, volley ball, Badminton and cricket are available Indoor games like Carrom, Table Tenis and chess are available on the campus.
