The Library was started in the year 1996, and named as Prof. B.Sarveswara Rao Library in 2005 as a mark of respect to former President Gayatri Vidya Parishad, great Economist, Former Vice-Chancellor Nagarjuna University, Emertius Professor of Economics AU and Economic Advisor to Government of Nigeria.
The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD / DVD -ROMs, Video Cassettes. Online Databases, Micro Documents, Video Cassettes, Books, Journals Thesis, Project Reports, Back Volume of Journals, Video Lessons from NPTEL. The library has been using an integrated library management software package with all modules for automated library operation and Bar code system.
A well equipped Digital Library is one of the most important sections of the Library. The library being a member of AICTE-INDEST consortium under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource and Development provides online access to IEL/IEEE, ASME, ACSE, Science Direct and DOAJ Journals through DELNET. The Digital Library consists of Video Lessons of NPTEL from IIT’s, E-Journals and E-Databases. It has two floors.
The first Floor consists of Books for Loan. The second floor consists of Reference, Rare and costly Books, Books for weaker sections Journals, Magazines (General and Spiritual), Back Volume of Journals, Student Projects, Non-Book Material (CD’s / DVD’s / Audio Video Lessons) and Digital Library.
The Library is also offering a number of information services to its users with professionally qualified staff using the printed and electronic resources and equipment. It is opened for 12 hours (7.00 A.M. to 7.00 P.M.) with Internet browsing facility for all its users. Access to e-journals is also made available in the campus to the academic community through AICTE – INDEST Consortium
The reprographic facility is provided for the convenience of the users.
The National Service Scheme, popularly known as NSS was launched in mahatma Gandhiji’s centenary year, 1969. Aimed at developing student’s personality through community service. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in colleges, universities ad at +2 Levels working for a campus – community linkage.
The cardinal principle of the NSS programme is that it is organized by the students themselves, and both students and teachers through their combined participation in community service, get a sense of involvement in the tasks of nation building.

Hostel: This is the best hostel where you'll feel like home. Rooms are big and clean. They are available in reasonable prices and food is also available in hostel food mess.

Infrastructure: I don't have nothing to say about the infrastructure of college. the information about the infrastructure is not revealed inthe college data and nothing.
Hostel: Iam not a vegetarian.so iam partially eating the food provided by the college. So the production of the college is not appreciated to the non vegetarian food.

Infrastructure: The buildings are very old around 20 years old especially hostel buildings are a mess. No maintenance of the washrooms there was no road before now as NAAC is visiting the campus they laid a road and acted as everything is fine
Hostel: Due to Sanitation and maintenance in hostel students are moving out to private hostel or renting a building or a house near college everything is like a mess in the hostel even food is pretty average
Hostel: Hostle is strict it will likes by students with strict parents but food is very bad.And they are making more strict upcoming.They provides wifi which will be beneficial for watching classes in hostle rooms

Hostel: The hostel infrastructure is good with many facilities. The food is the main thing in any hostel. Here the food is very taste and delight full. Apart of non veg.

Hostel: Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls in the campus. Those who desire to join hostel should pay Rs. 60,000/- per annum through DD in favour of “GVP BOYS HOSTEL” (for boys) and “GVP GIRLS HOSTEL (for girls) payable at Visakhapatnam.
Hostel: This is a pure vegetarian hostel. Keeping clean is there duty. Rooms are more hygienic. LJoint washroom for 4 rooms. Very small toilets.
