Placement: When it comes to placements, Government Dental College Srinagar offers a range of opportunities for its students, albeit with some areas for improvement. **Pros:** 1. **Job Opportunities:** The college facilitates job placements for its dental graduates in various public and private healthcare institutions, dental clinics, and government organizations. Students have access to a diverse range of job opportunities upon graduation. 2. **Networking:** The college organizes events, seminars, and workshops where students can interact with professionals in the dental field. These networking opportunities can be valuable for students seeking placements and building connections within the industry. 3. **Support Services:** Government Dental College Srinagar provides career counseling and support services to help students navigate the job market, prepare for interviews, and polish their resumes. This assistance can be instrumental in securing placements. **Cons:** 1. **Limited Private Sector Opportunities:** While the college offers placements in the public healthcare sector and government organizations, opportunities in the private sector may be relatively limited. Students interested in private practice may need to explore additional avenues for placement. 2. **Placement Assistance:** Some students may feel that the college could offer more proactive placement assistance, such as organizing job fairs or inviting more recruiters to campus. Enhanced support in this area could further enhance placement prospects for students. **Overall,** Government Dental College Srinagar provides a decent range of placement opportunities and support services for its students. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in expanding private sector placements and enhancing placement assistance, the college's efforts contribute to preparing students for successful careers in dentistry.

Dear Haifa,

The Govt Dental College Srinagar offers MDS and BDS courses at the college. If you are willing to take admission in GDC Srinagar then you shall qualify the NEET UG exam for BDS admission. On the other hand, the NEET MDS scores are considered for admission in the MDS course. The Govt. Dental College Srinagar fees for the BDS course is approximately Rs 25,000 per course while the total MDS course fees is Rs 60,000. As far as the career is concerned, you can get recruited in hospitals, and dental clinics as well as you can open your own dental clinic where the income is quite decent.

Hope this helps!
