While attempting the GITAM Admission Test, candidates must try to secure 50% or above to increase their chances of admission.

The PhD courses are offered full-time and the course duration is three years. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the PhD programme is that candidates must have a postgraduate degree with 45-50% marks in the examination. Candidates must also apply, appear and qualify for entrance exams set by the university for admission to its various courses.

Are GITAM degree programmes offered semester-wise or trimerster-wise?

All UG and PG programmes at GITAM Vizag are designed and offered semester-wise. Candidates need to appear for semester wise examinations to move into the next stage of the course curriculum. The semester system is decided by the University Grants Commission and the GITAM University Admission Council. Even the GITAM University Visakhapatnam fees can be paid semester wise. The GITAM B.Tech courses are divided into eight semesters, BBA and B.Com courses are divided into six semesters. Most of the PG courses are divided into four semesters.

Yes, the GITAM GAT results for 3 phases have been released on the official website of GITAM University. The varsity declared the results for phases 1, 2, and 3 on March 29, April 16, and May 11, 2025, respectively. Moreover, the GITAM GAT 2025 result for phase 4 is scheduled to be released on June 8, 2025. The results for the other phases will be out soon on the official website of GITAM.

The institute schedules both the exam and interview on the same day, so you are expected to appear for both. While the GITAM GAT 2025 exam itself lasts for 2 hours, the interview process may take a bit longer. We recommend being well-prepared and keeping enough time aside for the entire day.
