AUDITORIUM

Gokul Global University campus has a well-lit and built centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of over 800 people. It has two floors: a ground floor with a capacity of 650 seats and a terrace floor with another 150 seats. It has a 2000 sq. ft wooden floored stage area and 5800 sq. ft audience seating area with a PVC sports floor. It has well-balanced acoustic engineered designs using sophisticated sound equipment. Inside the hall is covered by the acoustic panel and outside by ACP cladding. There is a VIP room, electric room, two control rooms, two changing rooms, 4 toilet blocks and 2 shower blocks separate for males and females near the stage, and 10 toilet blocks and 2 handicap toilet blocks near the seating area. It is surrounded by a holistic garden and a parking area.

A regular venue for conferences, workshops, and seminars, this auditorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process while it is often utilized for cultural activities. It hosts a plethora of events during cultural week. Occasional movie screening also happens in the auditorium, especially for the fresher.

HOSTELS at GGU

GGU is a miniature of the world at large, where individuals from different social and cultural backgrounds live and work together and reach a new level of compatibility and mutual tolerance. With a key focus on developing a self-sustained residential campus, the Hostel facility is provided with separate accommodation for Male and Female students.

The boys’ hostel is available on the campus and for girls, the arrangement is made on the other campus. A total of 300 boys and 150 girls can accommodate in hostels. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The campus is self-sustained with a Medical center, Communication center, Stationery store, Canteen, and Generator for uninterrupted power supply. Hostel Mess is equipped with modern gadgets for cooking hygienic and nutritive food.

TRANSPORTATION

Gokul Global University Campus is prominently located on State Highway-41. Sidhpur is situated on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana-Delhi broad-gauge railway. Many trains have a stoppage here. Many S.T. buses and private buses are available for communication. The campus has its own fleet of buses plying in all the areas from Maheshana-Unjha-Sidhpur, Patan- Sidhpur, Palampur-Sidhpur, and Sidhpur city for faculty, students, and staff.

There are 7 buses of GGU for major ruts of Maheshana, Patan, and Palanpur, and for other routes, we have tied up with Private contractors. They follow the rules and regulations of the institute. A total of 10 private vehicles are used for other routes.

CAFETERIA

Right from the very first day of its inception, GEC has provided the facility for food, where students get breakfast, lunch, and all other stuff. The ambiance at GEC is so inspiring that students love to come every day and enjoy every moment here. A cool, green, and pleasant atmosphere in GEC stimulates positive learning and provides a lively environment for healthy interactions among the students and also with their mentors.

The central cafeteria at GEC offers faculty and students a place not only to relax but also to enjoy their food in a cozy atmosphere while sharing their ideas. The canteen serves a wide variety of snacks as well as North Indian and South Indian dishes prepared in hygienic conditions. All health-oriented measures are taken care of for maintaining a neat and clean hygienic space for all.

HOSPITALS

Gokul Sarvajanik Ayurveda Hospital, established in April 2015, and Gokul Sarvajanik Homeopathic Hospital established in April 2016 with the sole motto “healthy individual, healthy society; the strength of Nation” consequently rendering exceptional health care services with a holistic approach of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic system of medicine; to educate the people in and around Sidhpur; the values of sound physical, mental and spiritual healthiness; by organizing health and hygiene awareness camps at rural places and also offering quality medical services to the needy people at a well established 60 bedded hospital for Ayurvedic hospital and 25 bedded for Homeopathic Hospital at Gokul Foundation Campus.

The Ayurvedic hospital is spread over 22000 sq. feet while the Homeopathic Hospital is 1310.28 sq. meters, with well-equipped, clean, and ambient OPDs, IPD, OT complex, and Labor room, Panchakarma therapy unit (separate for male and female), central pathological laboratory and physiotherapy unit.

SPORTS GROUND

Gokul Global University believes in the overall development of the students. So other than academic activities, the emphasis is also given to extracurricular activities. GEC lays considerable emphasis on student participation in various outdoor and indoor games. It believes in inculcation and raising awareness from childhood about physical fitness in life, so it has taken the initiative to provide indoor and outdoor games facilities.

The students are encouraged to participate in games and sports activities that cover athletics (men and women), badminton (men and women), basketball (men and women), cricket, judo, kabaddi, volleyball, and yoga. These activities make the leisure hours of students profitable. Emphasis is laid on mass participation by the students. Well laid out fields are available on the campus.
