Considering the location and the purpose for which this college was originally set up, the efforts are constantly extended to match with modern trends in education. The campus is networked. It has facilities for the use of information and computer technology (ICT) in the learning process. The college provides good library and laboratory facilities. The college also strives to attain all-round development of the students through wide ranging co curricular and extra- curricular activities.

In order to equip students with latest technical know-how, the college has well equipped computer centre, computer labs, IT centre, and internet facility and well established laboratories. To be more effective and proficient in their respective fields, the college deputes the faculty members for Research, Orientation, Refresher courses and Workshops offered and organized by various universities in Andhra Pradesh. Very spacious, elegant and richly furnished auditorium is another asset of the college. It facilitates the conduct of various programmes.

To facilitate accommodation for the stay of girl students, the college has taken initiative to construct a girl’s hostel in its premises with the generous assistance of UGC funds. The construction of the hostel is in progress and is likely to be completed in a short period of time.

The college has women empowerment cell to strengthen girl students and women staff to face the challenges of the present days. Principal is the chairman of the cell and Smt. Jhansi Lakshmi, Head Dept. of Chemistry is the Convener. The cell has lady representatives from teaching, non-teaching and students. The cell organizes programs to bring awareness about woman challenges and motivate girl students. The following events have been held by the cell so far.

• International women’s day was held on 7-3-2012 with the help of lion’s Club, Siddipet.
• Lecture on AIDS awareness.
• Lecture on gynic problems and preventive measures.
• Hemoglobin test and distribution of remedial medicine to girl students sponsored by NSS units and Lion’s club, Spoorthy.
• A seminar was held on 3-9-2012 with the topic “Women’s Equality”.
• International women’s day was celebrated on 8-3-2013 with the assistance of NSS units and Lion’s club, Siddipet. In this connection, a health camp was conducted and medicines were distributed.

The NSS program was first started in the college in the year 1976. At present 6 units are in vogue among which one unit is meant for girls alone. All these units are very active and impressive in their endeavors. Every year, about 600 students get enrolled in these 6 units. They undertake various extension activities. It also organizes several programmes in the campus. These are of great educational and social importance. The dynamic, dedicated and devoted NSS program officers plan for undertaking socially beneficial programs around the neighboring villages. These units regularly conduct blood donation camps, plantation programs and anti-pollution campaigns etc

The college NCC unit was introduced in the year 1961 when Sri Nandiwada Krishna Murthy was the principal of the college. Since its inception, it has continued as an independent battalion till 1964 and later on it has been attached to the battalion of Karimnagar district. Now the unit is under the care of Sri N.Sreenu, Lecturer in Commerce. Every year, a few cadets of our college participate in the republic day parade. The NCC unit has been preparing cadets as responsible citizens. Its cadets have passed C and B certificate examinations with distinction. As per the college alumni records, a good number of NCC cadets have been selected into Army, Navy, CRPF and civil police services. Several students of this college are also placed in the important positions in Banking, Industry, Business, and Insurance.
