For teachers in colleges and Universities State Best Teacher Award is just like a Noble Prize to the scientific community. He was honoured by the state government of Andhra Pradesh with the State Best Teacher Award in the year 2000 at the age of 40 for his excellence in his teaching, research and several significant contributions to student community. He received Gold Record for Achievement from American Biographical Society, North Carolina, USA in 1996. He was honoured with National Chemistry Best Teacher Award in 2011 by Chemistry Research Society of Indian, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore.  He received outstanding young personality town from JAYCEES of Rajahmundry in the year 1998. He received best services award from the Collector of East Godavari in 2012 for his committed service as Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education.  He also received appreciation award from Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Hyderabad, AP, for best services as Principal and Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education in the year 2012.  Under the aegis of Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, Hyderabad, AP he received best Principal award for East Godavari District Government Colleges continuously for the years 2012 and 2013.
