Throughout the BDS course, students have access to High-tech clinical labs, Dental material lab, Oral Pathology lab, Research labs, a comprehensive library with all the necessary books & journals, and Internet.
In the first year of the BDS course students would be exposed to extensive lectures, laboratory activities, and basic clinical activities in medical sciences, general anatomy, physiology etc. Students get the opportunity to gather experience in preventive dentistry. The curriculum for the second year helps the students to further develop their preclinical skills. The third and fourth year curriculum gives the final shape to the students when they provide clinical treatment, attend specific lectures, and get accustomed with general hospital postings. Students get on hands experience in treating patients.
The 4-year BDS course provides students with ample opportunities in the field of oral healthcare. Students are made to be thorough with the concepts of general health sciences, develop high levels of professionalism, and acquainted with logical reasoning and critical decision making skills that would help them to make a brilliant and prosperous career in the dental field.
All the departments are today well equipped in terms of the infrastructure and equipments as prescribed by the Dental council of India .It has in place the internet and intranet facilities designed for the whole college along with enabling students to access all the sciences/ dental journals worldwide under one roof.
