Students from this college have excelled in various fields such as sports, NSS and civil Services. In NSS and sports students have won National awards. The college has a vast campus area of 10 acres. The built up area of the college is 1 acre and 10 decimals, excluding library building.The college has a library building attached to the main building. Total 14480 books on various subjects are available in the library along with news papers, magazines, journals etc. It is open for all the students of the college from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on all the working days of the week. It has a reading room facility too.n the year 1993-94 NSS unit of 100 students was started. The students can avail the opportunity to join this unit in order to render social services to the socThe college provides centralized sports facilities in various games such as athletics,  badminton, cricket, chess, football, volleyball, table tennis, tennis etc. Games and sports are organized by the sports officer of the college regularly. For fitness of the students gym facility is also available with six- station multi gym set.
