Infrastructure: As it is a government college, the Infrastructure is okayish and needs to be improved. It will be good if some of the blocks are renovated. there are so many departments in the college such as physiology, anatomy, pathology, biochemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, community medicine , Forensic department and other clinical departments such as ENT, ophthalmic, surgery etc. All the departments are situated at different blocks respectively.

Hostel: There are two hostels for both girls and boys respectively. Hostel rooms are spacious with bathrooms and other required facilities. The infrastructure is a bit better in girls hostel when compared to boys hostel. food at hostel is very good with lot of varieties on menu everyday. The mess is approximately 5000 rupees every month. a lot of sports can be played such as basketball, cricket, badminton, table tennis etc.

A new super speciality complex Podila Prasad– GMCANA Super speciality and Trauma Centre, with state of the art facilities is nearing completion in Government General Hospital to meet the ever increasing health needs of the Public.
