A British novelist Aldous Huxley rightly stated that, “The proper study of mankind is in books.” The College library abounds with a collection of over 30,000 books on all subjects. The college subscribes to leading newspapers and magazines in Hindi and English. It also subscribes to educational and research periodicals and journals. The students avail the facility under open access system and it is here that they develop the habit of voracious reading. The college has a hostel that provides a home away from home by running a 250 bedded hostel with all the comforts of living, for the students, within the college premises itself. Constant vigilance for the security of the boarders is the prime concern of the authorities. The girls feel free to move without fear and are relaxed in such an atmosphere. The college has a huge and well equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of 700 persons. Besides, it also has facilities for an open air auditorium. All college activities are held in the auditorium. These act as catalysts for the students and teachers by adding colour and flavour to the condiments of the intellect hence are indispensable attributes of erudition and are constantly promoted by the administration of the college.
