Placement: There is a seperate department that deals with the training as well as the placements of the students. The students are trained by conducting various Gd sessions and other things. The college trains students to learn about the cooperative world.
Infrastructure: Hcst has a wonderful infrastructure where any class or any hall can be visiting using the shortest possible path. The college has ample of sunlight access, and they use solar panels to save energy and reuse it. The only thing I am not happy about is the location of hcst as there are many monkeys who snach food .
Faculty: The college has faculty members for each department . Most of the teachers hold 15 to 20 years of experience in hcst alone. The teachers are good and honest to their job. But there are always some exceptions . I did face biased behaviour from some teachers .
Hostel: The college has 2 hostels seperate for boys and girls . The mess food is definitely better than the food of other college's mess. The hostel provides with free wifi and 24/7 electricity backup and water. There is a big ro plant to serve students good quality water.
Overall: After my experience of around 2 years in college I would say Though there are some shortcomings in college but if you are enthusiastic towards your college life you can get fullest of it. And as I have mentioned yes the college is in development phase as it is actually making a lot of improvements. If you live around Agra region and you don't want to go far away from home then this college is good.
Placement: There are very few final year students who got placed this year and the most of student who get placed got a package of less then 4 lpa. The only suggestion I have for you regarding placement is don't rely on college placement. I would say that try for off campus placement you will get better placement opportunities there. But if you want good placement from your college then this college is certainly not good
Infrastructure: The campus area of HCST is vast although most of the part is not used but college does have lots of sports ground. College is divided into two buildings one for BTech courses and other for masters courses although the main BTech building is yet under maintenance but as I mentioned college is in development.
Faculty: Some of the Faculties are really very good they are dedicated for the students they even have vast knowledge of there domain. But few faculties of college literally doesn't have any knowledge of there own subject as well. As said you cannot get everything and if you want better I suggest you to get admission in to some other college. If all you want to work on academics you are welcome but if you are interested in getting the technical exposure then for now you should find other college.
Hostel: I can not say much about the hostel facility as I myself is and most of the students in this college are day scholar but I have one friend who is staying in college hostel. There are seperate buildings for male and female hostels. Although I myself wouldn't suggest you to stay in hostel. You can find few accomodations around the campus you can go for them.
Overall: Its good college in terms of discipline, punctuality classes, however, the education level mostly the practical knowledge is nill, paemen is not good, the college might show you there past placement but its just a game of numbers, the best branch to do b,tech is CS. CS, has the best placement, faculty. We all need a job and for that you need to study. We are producing 1.5 million b.tech graduates every year If you want to be the part of this crowd g for it I know you will surely get a job one day, In case if you have a jill to achieve something then go for coaching do hard labour and then select the best college but of course not this one.
Placement: Depends on company not on your talent its all luck so don't loose hope of you are not selected, I am not interested is software, got rejected in TCS final round but I am siting in one of the best MNC software giant company today. (cant disclose the name). From eee in 2015 only 4 people got placed out of 114
Infrastructure: Nice in looks but a college should be a home of knowledge, a temple of books. Beautiful infrastructure is not going to help in your studies. you have everything, placement office is the best place to go meet your pdp teachers because this something that is gonna last forever no matter where you reach after 4 years so please take it seriously.
Hostel: Hostel is normal, food is quite expected as you get in hostels, security is great. I have not spent much time in hostel but ya have got a good feedback from my colleagues but it's too expensive so its better to move somewhere in Farah as you can also stay and study without disturbance.
