HKIMSR is ranked among the top 100 B-Schools in India. The placement record of the institute has been endorsed in B-School Surveys since 2010. The Institute has a strong collaboration with the corporations from various sectors like banking, finance, insurance, logistics, consultancies, IT and ITeS, media, education etc. who organise placement camps for students of Institute. 

The Soft Skills Development Centre within the Institute campus initiates the placement process. Initially, a pre-placement training programme is conducted for students in which professionals from corporate and industry are invited. The pre-placement programme involves mock interviews, soft skills training, Group Discussions (GD), aptitude and psychometric tests and ideas to create an impressive JD. The pre-placement programme helps students face interviews at the campus and beyond.  

Placement programme at the Institute is organised for each academic year from November to March which can be attended by the final year students. The Institute also conducts summer internship placements for first-year students of the programme and is run from December to March.
