iBAX Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

IBAX Institute of Film Studies is one of the well-known film institutes providing aspirants with a broad variety of academic streams in film studies. IBAX has a number of courses that students can take advantage of. It is necessary to remember that each course offered by the Institute has some eligibility requirements that must be met. • The applicants will have to upload their scanned image along with Secondary school examination/Senior secondary school examination certificates for admission to Diploma / PG Diploma after filling out the application form.

• After filling the application form candidates will need to pay the application fee of Rs 1000/- in cash or DD format drawn in the name of IBAX INSTITUTE OF FILM STUDIES  payable at Chennai.

Offline Mode:-

By going to college, candidates can also apply. You must visit the campus to apply for the program they want and fill in the application form. The application fee will be paid in cash or DD afterwards. The admission cell will then determine whether the applicant meets the eligibility criteria for the program. If yes, the candidates may proceed with the admission procedure such as appear in the IBAX entrance exam.

In order to take admission, the candidates need to take the eligibility test will be conducted under the supervision of the Admission Coordinator at IBAX. Based on their marks in the entrance exam, the candidates will be shortlisted for the admission.

Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be then called for the Personal Interview round which will be conducted after the written test by the Academic Head or his nominee. The Decision of the Admissions Committee will be conveyed to the candidate in writing (through Selection Letter) within 2 days.

Confirmation of the Admission

The Selected Candidate has to submit the Admission Fees after receiving the Selection Letter with respective Course Fee.

IBAX Institute of Film Studies MBA Eligibility Criteria 2020 are mentioned below:

• Candidates with any regular degree are B.E./ B.Tech, ME/Mtech, MCA, MSc from 2015 to 2019 can apply for the MBA Course in IBAX Institute of Film Studies 

• Candidates should have studied in the 10+2+3 (or 10+2+4) on a regular basis.

• In all cases, the student should have passed a bachelor's degree.

• In addition to this, the candidates must have qualified CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA entrance exam or have appeared in the IIKM-MAT entrance test conducted by the institute followed by personal interview.

• Candidates with work experience can also apply for the MBA admission

• Candidates who are awaiting the results of their degree in the final year can also apply. However, they need to submit the passing certificate at the time of admission.

For MBA in Digital Marketing & E-commerce:-

Candidates should have secured a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.

IBAX MBA Selection Process 2020

The selection process for the IBAX Institute of Film Studies MBA program involves the following steps:

Step 1: 

Register and apply for at least any one of the entrance exams – CAT 2019; XAT 2020; MAT; GMAT or IIKM-MAT.  

Step 2: 

The candidate should apply to IIKM through online by using the common application form  

Step 3: 

Complete the IIKM application form. In the Application Form, the candidate must provide educational qualifications, contact details, and at least one of the following entrance score CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA. More than one entrance score can be submitted.

The candidates must have appeared for the IIKM-MAT entrance test conducted by the institute 

Step 4: 

Candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) round from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance score and have applied to the programme of IIKM. The Personal Interview process will be conducted in the months of January/February 2020 and will be common for all the MBA Programmes at IIKM.  

Step 5: 

After the PI round, admission offers are made by IIKM to successful candidates. The final selection for Work Integrated MBA program is based on the performance in PI round by the respective companies and will be offered provisional offer letter for OJT.
