For IIAE Dwarka admission 2024, the application period for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) programme is now closed. In May 2023, candidates had to take the All India Admission Examination (AIAEE) online. Within the permitted dates, students had to choose the day and time they wanted to take the exam. The GD-PI or counselling sessions will take place between May and June 2023. Upon completion of the Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering admissions process 2023, the session will start in July or August of that year.
The IIAE Dwarka provides a course called Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) of 2 years duration. It has received approval from the DGCA (Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India). It also offers an Integrated Graduate degree in AME of 3 years duration. Admission to the courses is provided on a merit and entrance test basis. For the IIAE Delhi admission process, the candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria. Admission is granted through a stiff screening process which is done by an all India admission entrance examination popularly known as AIAEE (All India AME entrance examination) exclusively for the Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering (IIAE) registered candidates only. This is conducted through an Online Examination mode at 26 centres all over India in the month of APRIL or MAY every year. Students also get the opportunity to select their preferred examination date in online examination mode within the allowed dates. Based on the examination results and all India merit list is published online in the institute website (www.iiae.in ) with intimation to the selected and qualified students on their registered E-mail address. Students who are interested in taking admission have to apply online. On the basis of merit, students will get an admission offer letter.

A candidate who has passed the 10+2 examination with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or has completed a three year approved diploma in any of the streams is eligible for admission in the AME programme.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is an International Course. For joining AME student should be 10+2 or equivalent form approved board with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Math). Three Years Polytechnic Diploma holders also can apply for this course. Candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics and Math in 10+2 level examination. Student has to clear Color Blindness Test.
