Overall: Take only if you get CSE. Bad Management, takes 2-3 weeks for a single piece of document. Infrastructure is bad, you have a ugly looking academic block and 4 hostels painted like police station. Placements not good , average package would be 10LPA but only 60% students got placed including offcampus , for only on-campus it would be 45%.
Placement: Bad Placements , 10 Average package but only about 60% got placed including offcampus , for only on-campus it would be 45%. Placement officer is very rude and might say anything to you without even thinking.
Infrastructure: The Academic block cannot even accommodate all the students. Don't have a compound wall , cows goats, buffaloes graze around. We have the academic block as our auditorium, it is also a study place and also a gym place. We have computer labs where 80% computers don't work.
Faculty: Some faculty are really knowledgeable and teaches well but not all teachers are good , they don't think about the students and just try to give you mental pressure.
Hostel: Hostels are actually not that bad compared to the rest things. You get water all the time and the washrooms are cleaned 3-4 times a week. Internet is decent.
Overall: College is good for those who are more inclined to the academics side and want to pursue their masters or gate. Those who want to enjoy college life may need to rethink their choice. The cultural fest is good but do not expect one every month or something like that.
Placement: The placements are neither too bad nor too good currently due to layoffs and recession it is OK OK but it is expected to improve in coming years. At the end of the day those who have skill will get placed. So don't just rely on the college academics and gain other necessary skills through technical events or online means
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms, labs, etc are nice. But the overall academic block is small in view of the number of students of all bat batches. We are expecting an additional academic block in the coming years
Faculty: The faculty are good. Since all of them have phds from good and reputed Colleges in India and abroad they have the knowledge, but now everyone may follow their teaching in class. So to make the most of it it is best to ask lots of doubts and use online reference if necessary
Hostel: Most of the hostels are recently built and have been there for few years so most of them are good rooms will be cleaned once a week by workers. We get a cot chair table and an Almirah from the management.boys hostels are few hundred meters from academic block. Girls hostel is 1km away. The college provides bus service for girls. Every year assigned hostels are rotated.
Overall: If we talk about the overall standings of the collage, it stands right above every private and state collage other then nits and iits. But if we talk amongst iiits, in my opinion its very much the best.
Placement: 16.5 lpa as and average and 10.6 as median pakage if i remember correctly (2021-22) it is better then most of the nits i would say, more or less every friends of mine got thier desired placements, the faculty helps a lot in these times.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure its going good although it was building up in my times of preparation, but i can assure you all that once the construction is complete it will be rated amongst the best iiits in terms of looks
Faculty: If we talk about the faculty in iits nits and iiits they all remain same for every collage, so you dont have to worry about them. Talking of strict teachers, it is pretty much balanced .
Hostel: Hostels are pretty good i would say, not the best. There were double sharing and triple sharing rooms, enough spacious. Perfect building since newly made.
