The following GOI Scholarships are available to the MBA Participants:
1) Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Castes Students – Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
2) Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribes Students – Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
3) Merit-cum means based scholarship scheme belonging to the minority communities - Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Need cum Merit-based Financial Assistance
Financial assistance in the form of 100%, 50% and 25% fee tuition waiver is given to up to 10% of the MBA participants based on their family income and academic performance. Any student, including those belonging to the SC/ST category, whose total annual family income does not exceed Rs 3,00,000/- is eligible for consideration of these scholarships. The financial assistance is available to both the MBA-I-Year and MBA-II-Year students.

Keeping this perspective in mind, the institution has introduced scholarship programmes for its students. These are the postgraduate programme participants who will be able to avail the benefits of IIM Kashipur Scholarships Programme.
These scholarships and financial assistance will help students in acquiring the postgraduate degree they desire from this institution. In order to maintain an equilibrium and a similar platform for students of weaker sections, IIM Kashipur has introduced these scholarships. Based on the social strata and financial conditions of the students, the institution has decided to circulate the scholarships among the deserving candidates. There are two types of Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur Scholarships and Financial Assistance. Details regarding the same can be seen below.
There are three types of GOI scholarships that are applicable for Post Graduate Programme participants of IIM Kashipur. These are:
Scholarships for Scheduled Caste Students: These scholarships are for the students falling in the SC category. The scholarships have been initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education.
Scholarships for Scheduled Tribe Students: Initiated by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education, students of the ST category will be awarded the scholarships.
Merit cum Means Scholarships: These scholarships are planned for the students who are meritorious and belong to the minority community and/or are poor. The efforts are recognised under Merit-cum means based scholarship scheme looked after by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
The institute sponsored scholarships are the scholarships that are Need cum Merit-based Financial Assistance. This assistance is given to the 10% students of the Post Graduate Programme (MBA). Tuition fee waiver of 100%, 50% and 25% are given to the students who qualify the designated eligibility norms. One such criterion is the annual family income of the students and the other one is the academic performance of the students. Students comprising of the SC and ST category with annual family income less than 3 lakhs will be considered as eligible for this scholarship. This financial support is available to both the MBA first year and MBA second-year students
