IIM Lucknow Admission is conducted through entrance examinations like GMAT, GRE, CAT and NET-JRF scores. It offers a variety of postgraduate, doctoral and certificate courses in management, including MBA, PGP, PGP, PGP-Sustainable Management, IIMX, FPM, EFPM and MGNF. Given the historical background of the institution, it is no doubt that IIM Lucknow has exceeded expectations in terms of student's learning experience. Library

Interestingly, IIM Lucknow's library serves more than one purpose for its students. Spread across a sprawling 30,000 square feet of area, it constitutes a large section of the campus and is certainly one of the main attractions of the institution. The library is well stocked with a collection of more than 60,000 learning resources in management-related fields. It is well equipped with various amenities such as an air conditioner, ergonomically designed furniture and fittings, xerox machines, fax machines, computers and printers. To count, this library hosts a large collection of 46,133 books, 192 current periodicals, 4,974 e-journals, 22,453 back files, and 88 e-databases. Open 24*7 all week for access, IIM Lucknow's library is definitely a leading feature of this institution. For some students, they even call it the "Gyanodaya", to justify the list ov purposes it essentially serves.  

Laboratories

IIM Lucknow offers a high-quality laboratory experience to the students studying at the institution. It is because all laboratories at the institution campus are equipped with modern technologies, along with a decent seating capacity, and in-stock availability of laboratory equipment. There are separate laboratories for each discipline to cater for the demands of the different categories of students at once. Each laboratory is looked after by specified lab persons, to keep all the amenities available and safe for student's use. Moreover, all laboratories are air-conditioned and equipped with high-end servers. 

Hostel

The hostel facilities at IIM Lucknow are truly remarkable when it comes to student accommodations. The campus has a total number of 128 rooms to offer accommodations to students residing on campus. These rooms are located in seperate hostel buildings to provide comfortable accommodation for students. Each building has a total number of 64 rooms, equipped with all modern amenities such as LCD televisions, Wi-Fi, a tea-coffee facility, and other basic facilities. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have proper hygiene checks regularly. The entire campus is divided into two buildings: Chanakya and Patanjali. The lush greenery surrounding the hostel buildings makes it a divine experience for students to reside inside the campus premises. Boys and girls have separate hostel wings with their dedicated separate common rooms and activity rooms. Around a total of 500 students, and 75 faculty members can be accommodated at the hostel facilities at IIM Lucknow at once. All hostel buildings are assigned a warden, a gymnasium, a medical care facility, an activity room, an auditorium, etc. 

Canteen

The Chanakya building at the IIM Lucknow campus has a dining hall for students and faculty members. The canteen space is large and spacious. Hot meals are served throughout the day, along with clean running water for drinking. It is fully air-conditioned, with modern furnishings and an automatic cooking system. The canteen kitchen has a huge food storage facility as well where hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained. The prices of the food items are also reasonable. 

Health Care Facility 

Inside the IIM Lucknow campus, there's an on-campus dispensary with a network of affiliated hospitals. The institution offers 24*7 medical assistance to its students, usually supported by in-house medical officers. IIM Lucknow also offers mediclaim for its students, which they can wish to reimburse in case of a medical emergency. There's also a health care facility inside the campus which has four beds, doctors and paramedical experts, a resident physician, a gynaecologist, and three part-time physicians: a physician, a homoeopathic physician, and a physician. Since IIM Lucknow's campus is located on the outskirts of the city, at a distance of 8 km, the institution offers an on-campus transportation service for its students and faculty members. It runs on a need-basis from campus to the city and is operational 24*7 all days in a week.

It is no secret that IIM Lucknow's campus has an impressive infrastructure, with a large number of on-campus amenities available for both students and faculty. While there is no complaint about the institution's infrastructure, some students are often of the opinion that the learning experience at IIM Lucknow is reserved for those who wish to experience only the luxury of studying at an institution for its infrastructural perks. 

IIM Lucknow's Diversity & Representation

IIM Lucknow generally grants admission to about 70% of the students belonging to regions outside the home state. Being one of the largest institutions in Uttar Pradesh, the diversity and representation at this institution is fairly decent. However, securing admission at IIM Lucknow is quite difficult and different from regular institutions. The selection process for admission at IIM Lucknow is rather strict.

About 75% of the students are usually male and around 25% of them female. Being one of the modern institutions in the country, this creates a poor image of the institution as it has failed to cater to the issue of gender ratio equality over the years. Thus, IIM Lucknow should take proper measures to boost its gender ratio and ensure a higher rate of women's admission at the institution in the future.

With the good reputation of the faculty members at IIM Lucknow, there is no doubt that the students are satisfied with the quality of education provided at the institution. However, there have been instances recorded by some students wherein the professors have failed to complete the academic requirements and syllabus due to negligence or poor conduct. Although instances like this are fairly rare, the institution should not take these complaints lightly and must prompt immediate action to cater to the student's requirements.
