IIM Visakhapatnam Campus & Infrastructure

The IIM Visakhapatnam campus is surrounded by the mountains of the Eastern Ghats and the blue seas of the Bay of Bengal. The IIMV campus is spread over 240 acres of land which is endowed with almost all modern infrastructure and amenities. The campus is furnished with all state-of-art Infrastructure with a decorated garden, modern architecture & the best facilities. The classrooms of IIM Visakhapatnam are fully air-conditioned, and furnished with LCD projectors and speakers, along with interactive display facilities to enhance the learning skills of the student.

Library: The IIMV library acts as a main learning resource centre of the institute. The students can easily access reference books, reports, journals, periodicals, CDs etc. It is the backbone of the academic knowledge of the students, with a collection of about 30,000 books, technical journals, thesis, e-books etc. It comprises computerised as well as physical study materials and has 2798 e-journals, 12,000 digital books, 38 printed magazines and journals, 1959 printed books, 10 printed papers, and memberships to four online papers.

Auditorium: The auditorium of IIM Visakhapatnam campus is well-furnished with state-of-the-art audio, and video facilities with a seating capacity of over 200 students. The auditorium is used for hosting college events, seminars, conferences, and cultural activities.

Hostel: The institute also provides a separate hostel for boys & girls which is close to the campus. The hostels have air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, TV, refrigerator, dining hall, hygienic food, CCTV surveillance etc. The institute also accommodates caring wardens and security which ensures a pleasant stay for the students and helps them to focus on their academic studies.

Sports: It offers sports facilities to the students that incorporate indoor as well as outside sports. The hostels also have indoor game spaces for the students.

Cafeteria: The students of the IIM Visakhapatnam can appreciate tasty, healthy and hygienic food through the method for the cafeteria accessible inside the grounds.

Hospital: The institute offers medical help to the students as well as different staff from the campus. The medical centre generally has a Chief Medical Officer, nurse, and counsellor to help. The students can benefit from insurance. 

The institute also provides various other amenities to its students like the canteen, library, conference room, gym, ATM, etc. The institute also hosts various activities for their students like Consulting Club, Innovation Club, Information Technology Club, ARTquake, Vatsalya, Sports Club etc. Through clubs and events, the students of IIM Visakhapatnam get the opportunity to interact with the faculty, community service, social welfare & others which helps the student to develop leadership qualities and experience group pedagogy.
