The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has recorded successful placements for the session 2017-18. DMS IIT Delhi announced on Monday, April 2, that the average package for the batch passing out in 2018 stood at Rs. 16.54 lakh per annum. Various recruiters lined up at the institute to hire the management students of the institute.

IIT Delhi Registrar talked about the placements at DMS and said that this year the department recorded best placements despite the fact that there was a 100% increase in the batch size. The Registrar added that there has also been an increase in the number of leadership roles offered to students. Of the total offers rolled out, 27% were leadership roles.

Professor M.P. Gupta, Head of the DMS IIT Delhi, Professor M.P. Gupta said that the credit of such a successful placement season goes to the meticulously crafted curriculum, industry-oriented learning process, guidance offered by business leaders at the institutes as well as the alumni support.
Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi successfully completed its placement process for 2017. The batch of 2015-17 had 46 students in it. 53 offers were rolled out for the students from various firms.Big names like Reckitt Benckiser, GE, Amazon, Crisil, HPCL, Bosch, IOCL, National Instruments, Dell, Bank of America, Deloitte and Google participated in the placement process.
Highlights of the placement process for 2017
The highest package for the 2015-2017 batch was Rs. 27.07 lakh per annum whereas the minimum salary package was Rs. 8 lakh
The average package for the 2015-2017 batch was Rs. 16.21 lakh per annum
43% of the jobs offered by recruiters were PPO/ PPIs
Students were offered various roles including leadership roles, BI Senior Analyst, Senior Analyst, Business Analyst, Young Leaders Program, Assistant Manager and Programme Manager were some of the profiles offered by the recruiters.
