Overall: INSTITUTE OF ADVANCE RESEARCH IS LOCATED IN GANDHINAGAR IT IS VERY NEAR FROM FAMOUS PDEU COLLEGE. IT HAS VERY SMALL CAMPUS AND MINIMUM SPORTS FACILITIES
Placement: SADLY BUT TRUE! AT IAR THERE ARE RARELY ON CAMPUS PLACEMENTS OPPORTUNITIES. MOSTLY STUDENTS GO FOR FURTHER STUDIES AFTER GRADUATING FROM IAR. SOME STUDENTS GETS PLACED BY THIER OWN SKILLS
Infrastructure: IAR HAS A VERY SMALL CAMPUS. CAMPUS MOSTLY COMPRISES OF ACADEMIC BUILDINGS AND SMALL SPORTS GROUND. IT DOES NOT HAVE MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE BUT YES IT HAS A MINIMUM INFRASTRUCTURE THAT A COLLEGE REQUIRES
Faculty: IAR IS MOSTLY FAMOUS FOR BIOTECHNOLOGY BRANCH. AT IAR FACULTIES ARE QUALIFIED ENOUGH TO TEACH STUDENTS, NOT LIKE SOME FACULTIES WHO DOESN'T HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR OWN SUBJECTS
Hostel: AS IAR DOES NOT HAVE VERY LARGE NUMBER OF NON-LOCALITIES. SADLY IT DOES NOT HAVE THEIR OWN HOSTEL FACILITIES BUT YOU CAN OPT FOR PGS AND SOME PRIVATE HOSTELS NEAR PDEU (VERY NEAR FROM IAR)
Overall: Hii, I'm Aryan and I am enrolled in IAR Gandhinagar in Btech Biotech course My review about the college is that if you can please avoid the college there is absolutely 0 placements in biotechnology here even it is a college which specialises in research. In my 1st sem every senior or alumni whom I met said that I made the wrong decision taking admission here and I see it now as the old faculty which were good all left and the new faculty is just not good.
Infrastructure: All I have to say about the infrastructure is that my school was way bigger and had good infrastructure than this. The canteen is small, there are just two buildings one new and one old. If you are a student and want a vibrant college than this is not the place for u I would suggest go enroll in PDEU they just started this course and the college is great.
Faculty: The faculty here is not that great but they get the job done l. The old faculty were good that's what the senior told me and the faculty which replaced them is not that great for my course. It's 50/50 kind of situation.
Hostel: I can pass all of the above remark on college and infrastructure but the hostel here is horrendous. I personally stayed in this hostel for 2 semesters and the room which I got did not have a single window the only way for the air to flow was if I kept the door open. And It was like a 200 degree oven in the summer i started getting rashes and infection due to the heat and no problem air flow.
