The placement cell is responsible for handling all data related to placements and they are the repository for all the placements offered each year.  Here is a list of the IAR placement details -

IAR Placement Process and Placement Cell

The IAR placement process begins at the end of a student’s academic career. At the very beginning, a student has to appear for an aptitude test and counselling session to discuss the details of their career plans, whether they want to seek employment or pursue higher education. The placement cell follows a “one student one job” policy which means that students who have accepted an offer will be automatically de-registered from any further placement interviews.

The students looking for placement assistance will have to register online by filling up a registration form called the ‘Expression of Interest’ and submitting it to the placement cell. The submission of the form is mandatory for attending all on and off-campus interviews. However, simple registration with the placement cell does not mean a job guarantee. 

The students are required to submit their resumes to the IPC site prior to the annual placement cycle. Resumes may be edited at any time. 

The students are required to check all the eligibility criteria and job descriptions before applying for placement interviews. Final year students and postgraduate students who have cleared all the subjects of the last examination and PhD scholars who have submitted their theses are eligible for registering for placement interviews. Apart from academics, students also need to have cleared all their dues at the Institution.
