Overall: Let's be honest.This place is...decent. It isn't by any means mind-blowing but it mostly does its job. The social scene is whatever you make it - if you get the courage to go join some clubs or the like, you can definitely find your niche and enjoy yourself.
Placement: They indeed heavily advertise their "job placement statistics" to potential students. Not forgetting to give credit where it's due, if you are taking courses such as accounting, engineering, computer science and so on
Infrastructure: The buildings and facilities, well, they are a bit of a mixed bag. The classroom buildings and the libraries are modern and pretty nice. On the other hand, some buildings are very outdated, rundown and in need of complete reconstruction.
Faculty: As it is with any place, with teachers you are taking a chance. I've had them that are crazy about their subjects and really want the students to accomplish their goals. Magnificent teachers who can simplify so many concepts in a way that you feel you understand.
Hostel: Alright, now the dorms.In a word?Disappointing. You won't be surprised if you get into one of the new developments, but otherwise, be prepared for tiny living spaces, communal showers, and no sense of privacy or personal space whatsoever.
