Admissions at JPIET Meerut

Admission to each of the program at JP Institute of Engineering & Technology will be done on the basis of academic percentage. The college offers a wide range of options in the course bucket which allows the candidates to choose any of the course according to their convenience. JPIET, Merrut B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2020

B.Tech

  • Candidates must have qualified 12th with Physics & Mathematics as main subjects. 
  • Besides this, He/ She must have Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. 
  • Minimum of 50% is required in all the subjects combined. Other candidates belonging from SC(Scheduled Caste) or ST(Scheduled Tribes) must have scored a minimum of 45%.

B.Tech(Lateral Entry)

(For Diploma Holders)

  • Candidates belonging from general category must have cleared three diploma program in engineering with a percentage not less than 50 without any grace marks.
  • Other candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories must have scored a minimum percentage of 45. 
  • Apart from this, parents of the applying candidate must be the domicile of Uttar Pradesh. 

B.Tech(Lateral Entry)

(For B.Sc Holders)

  • Candidates who hold B.Sc degree in any stream and have passed 12th examination having Mathematics as one of the subjects from any of the recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Candidates who belong from any of the reserved categories need to score a minimum percentage of 45%. 

JPIET, Merrut B.Tech Selection Process 2020

Candidates will be chosen for admission in the B.Tech program on the basis of UPSEE scores. The institute will also consider marks in the JEE Main examination. All candidates going for admission must ensure that they clear the exam without any grace marks.

  • Passing the 10+2 examination securing a minimum percentage of 45% marks in any stream with mathematics as the main subject. Other candidates belonging from any reserved categories must have scored a minimum aggregate of 40%.

Selection for the BBA and BCA Programs will be done on the basis of academic scores. Once selected the college will call selected candidates for seat confirmation. Candidates who failed to report to the campus on the date allocated to them will lose his/ her seat.

Aap entrance exam preparation ke liye UP Board Class 11th and 12th ke new syllabus follow kar sakte hain. Poora JEECUP 2025 syllabus detail mein humare page pe diya hua hain. JEECUP Group I syllabus ke through Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics), and Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Helicopter and Powerplants) courses mein admission diya jayega. Dear Student,

JEECUP exam ek state-level entrance exam hain jo Uttar Pradesh ki government and private engineering colleges mein Diploma/ Polytechnic course admission ke liye conduct kiya jata hain. Iss exam ke through aap Engineering, Technology, or Pharmacy streams mein Diploma kar sakte hain. JEECUP 2025 exam pattern ke anusaar yeh test online mode mein conduct hoga total 400 marks ke liye. As a student, aap ko 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) mein total 100 MCQ type questions attempt karne hoge. JEECUP exam paper Hindi aur English dono langauge mein rahega. Har question ke sahi answers ke liye aap ko 4 marks milenge; Galat answer ke liye koi negative marking nahi hogi. Saare questions JEECUP syllabus ke anusar hi hoge, jo ki Class 10th/ 11th/ 12th level ka hain.Iss saal JEECUP 2025 exam May 20 se May 28 tak conduct hoga. Formula:

  • Power (P) = 1 / focal length (in meters)

Given:

Calculation:

  • Power (P) = 1 / 0.2 = 5 diopters

Therefore, the power of the lens is +5 diopters

Why is it positive?

  • A positive power indicates a convex lens (converging lens)
