List of Documents Required for NEET Application Form 2025 includes a passport-size photograph, postcard-size photograph, left and right-hand fingers and thumb impression, candidate's signature, PwBD certificate and citizenship certificate. As per the latest notification released by the NTA, authentication through AADHAR and APAAR ID for NEET Registration 2025 is suggested. However, to clear the confusion, registration through AADHAR and APAAR ID is not mandatory but is recommended to ensure a seamless registration and document verification process. It is important to note that the registered students applying for the NEET 2025 Exam must verify the list of documents required for NEET application form 2025 and submit the right documents in their specified sizes, format and dimensions only.

NEET UG 2025 Registration Likely to Begin on January 31: Reports

NEET UG 2025 Registration: The National Testing Agency is most likely to begin the NEET UG 2025 Registration from tomorrow, January 31, 2025, as per several media reports. Although NTA has not released any official statement regarding the same yet, aspirants looking forward to appearing for the NEET UG 2025 are advised to check the official website at neet.nta.nic.in frequently for the latest updates. The registrations will be conducted online through the website only, and not through any other means. All candidates seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, or other Undergraduate medical courses will have to qualify for NEET UG 2025 to be eligible for admissions.

In addition to MBBS and BDS, students who want to pursue an Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), or Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) degree must also register and appear for NEET 2025. Candidates for admission to the Military Nursing Service (MNS) BSc Nursing Programs at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals will also have to appear for NEET UG 2025 as per the NTA stated.

Through the NEET UG 2025, 1,08,940 MBBS seats will be filled, out of which, 5,275 MBBS seats are from Tamil Nadu, which has the most number of seats, according to data released by the Health Ministry. To register, candidates will require their documents updated and an Aadhar card linked to the phone number that will be used for NEET UG 2025 registration for verification purposes. Initially, APAAR ID was proposed as mandatory, which was later revoked, however, NTA appreciates using of APAAR ID for registrations. Hence, candidates preparing to register through NEET UG 2025 are advised to prepare their documents to be submitted along with their applications, as the same will be considered for counselling and admission purposes later.

Minimum Marks Required in NEET 2025 for MBBS ranges between 720 to 162 for general and EWS, and 161 to 127 for other reserved categories. Students who wish to secure the minimum marks required in NEET 2025 for MBBS for top government college admissions must know of the minimum NEET passing marks for MBBS specified by the NTA. The National Testing Agency (NTA) revises the minimum NEET passing marks for MBBS every year based on the overall NEET exam difficulty level, seat matrix of the participating colleges, NEET previous year's trends, etc. However, students who fail to secure the minimum marks required in NEET 2025 for MBBS can aim for private medical college admissions. The NEET passing marks for MBBS is of two types: the minimum mark required in NEET which is the qualifying NEET cutoff, and the college-wise admission cutoff which is released during the counselling process based on the respective college admission requirements.

NEET Application Form Correction 2025 window will be activated after the NEET 2025 Registration process is concluded. The exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA), is yet to release the official notification announcing the NEET Application Form Correction 2025 dates. However, as per the reports, the NEET 2025 Registration process is likely to commence in the final week of February or the initial weeks of March 2025. Therefore, the NEET Application Form Correction 2025 window is anticipated to open in the month of March 2025. During the NEET Application Form Correction 2025, students who have submitted their NEET applications will be eligible to make changes or modifications to their application forms. The NTA has introduced the provision of NEET Application Form Correction 2025 to allow participants to correct discrepancies regarding the exam center preferences, photographs, signatures, and thumb impressions in their application form. However, no student will be allowed to make changes to their personal information during the NEET Application Form Correction 2025.

Residence Quota CANCELLED for NEET PG admissions: The Supreme Court of India has ruled that all citizens are recognized as domiciles of the country, allowing the freedom to reside and work anywhere. Justice Dhulia emphasized that there is no separate state domicile identification, bolstering constitutional rights to education and national unity. The Court also stated that while reservations in undergraduate medical admissions can be acceptable, they are not suitable at the postgraduate level, eliminating domicile-based reservations for future medical students but protecting current students. Additionally, the Telangana High Court has removed a rule requiring four years of schooling in Telangana for Residence Quota admissions, benefiting 94 medical students and promoting fairness in postgraduate education.

Dear Student, 

KGMU Medical College is a government college. To seek admission into UG Nursing courses at King George’s Medical University (KGMU), candidates must meet a list of admission eligibility criteria to be deemed competent for applying for the same. The admission criteria for BSc Nursing course at KGMU specify that all interested candidates must have successfully passed their 10+2 or its equivalent with Science, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their core subjects in the qualifying examination. Moreover, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 or its equivalent to be deemed eligible for the admission registration process.

Candidates interested in applying for the BSc Nursing course at KGMU must be over 17 years of age. Most importantly, all candidates are required to qualify the NEET UG Entrance Exam mandatorily, to become eligible for application form fill-up. It is important to note that only candidates who successfully qualify the entrance exam, and meet the list of eligibility criteria, will be allowed to participate further in the counseling process for BSc Nursing admission at KGMU.

Dear student, 

King George’s Medical College Lucknow does not offer a Bachelor of Optometry course. Rather, the institute offers medical programmes at UG and PG levels. A few of the KGMU Lucknow popular courses are MBBS, BDS, MDS, MS etc. For admission in MBBS, the institute accepts NEET scores. The fee for KGMU Lucknow MBBS course is Rs 54,900 per annum. The duration of the MBBS course is five years. The institute considers NEET UG scores for admission in MD and MS programmes.
