Hands-On Training in Neonatal Emergency Care Workshop - A workshop on Neonatal Resuscitation was held at L.N. Nursing School under the guidance of Prof. Dr. T. Jayakumar, Principal. Organized by the Child Health Nursing Department and coordinated by Prof. Ezhilarasi and Asst. Prof. Mr. Sarjan Patel, the event featured Dr. Shweta Anand, Professor and Unit Head of the Pediatric Department at L.N. Medical College and J.K. Hospital, as the expert speaker. The workshop included a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, a pre-test to assess baseline knowledge, and comprehensive sessions covering the NRP algorithm, causes of neonatal complications, required equipment, Ambu bag demonstration, MRSOPA steps, and termination guidelines. A post-test was conducted to evaluate learning outcomes, and VII Semester B.Sc. Nursing students participated enthusiastically, making it a valuable hands-on learning experience.
