Sports Scholarship
The University awards a number of sports scholarships to those students who win medals in the All India Inter-Varsity tournaments in a particular academic year. The amount of scholarships is Rs. 15000/- per year. The scholarships shall be tenable for one year. during the year of achievement, and shall be subject to satisfactory conduct in the University. The University, also award cash prizes of Rs. 1000, Rs. 800 and Rs. 500 to the students securing First, second and third positions respectively in All India Inter-varsity tournaments.

Tuition Free ship
All the female students of B.P.Ed. Integrated course are exempted from the tuition fee of Rs. 4000/- annually, provided they pass the examinations and maintain good conduct.

Merit Scholarship
This is awarded to all top 10% students of every class of B.P.Ed. Integrated and M.P.Ed. courses getting ranking in their annual examinations @ 4,000/- per students for one year.

Fellowship for M.Phil. Scholars
Rs. 1000/- per month will be awarded to the top five M.Phil. scholars based upon their performance in the entrance test for admission in M.Phil. course who do not receive any kind of financial help from any other source (including salary) and is subject to satisfactory conduct both within and outside the university.

Other Scholarships
Some States and Union Territories Governments offer scholarships to their students: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Lakshadweep,Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland,
Pondichery, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal offer scholarship only to SC/ST students. In addition, scholarships are also awarded by North East Council.

Rs. 1000/- each will be awarded to the best footballers (Men and Women) of the Institute annually by the family members of (Late) Prof. R.P. Sharma.
