In 2001, the Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics (MAAC), a prestigious school for 3D animation, visual effects, gaming, and multimedia, was founded. One of the largest centres continuing the tradition of the Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics is MAAC Kalkaji. It is a Category "A" centre by the MAAC. This institute offers cutting-edge instruction in various fields.  In India, there are more than 80 academic institutions. The Delhi campus includes a modern building designed to maximise its resources for developing the next generation of animators and artists. For admission in MAAC Kalkaji candidates must have at least passed their 10+2 qualifying examination.
