There are several scholarship programs at the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology for its students. Not only scholarships, but the University also financially supports the students with various fellowship and award programs. The college accepts scholarships from the other state government. MMMUT also provides loans for needy students. MMMUT Gorakhpur scholarship facilities for UG and PG students help the students with financial assistance and reward academic performances. The Uttar Pradesh State Government, to enhance literacy and create a workforce of educated and knowledgeable people, has put forward an education project to provide education to every child in the state. The government imparts financial grants to students enrolled in the universities. The crux of the Uttar Pradesh Grants Programme is to provide financial support to students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Minority and General categories and studying in Post-matric classes. Students belonging to different categories have to prove income while applying for the Uttar Pradesh grant programmes.
The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) scheme of the University Grants Commission (UGC) is open to candidates who qualify in the National Eligibility Test-Junior Research Fellowship (NET-JRF) of the UGC.
