The main motto of the institute is to create health awareness in the society by the means of Yoga and Naturopathy and to promote and propagate ouroriental and traditional heritage in the form of the sciences of Yoga and Naturopathy based on Ayurvedic guidelines.For an effective administration and guidance of the activities of the institute, a "Governing Body" has been formed. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor and Hon'bleRegistrar of G.A.U. happen to be its Chairman and secretary respectively. Besides this, other members of the Governing Body are nominated from among the members of Senate – Syndicate of Guj. Ayu. Uni., members nominated by the Government etc. For facilitating the routine administrative activities, the institute has various administrative posts as well.
