About MGAHV

Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya is a central public university established in 1997 by an act passed by the Indian Parliament in 1997. The university is popularly known as MGAHV and it is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Furthermore, with a CGPA of 3.06, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited MGAHV with an ‘A’ grade. The university campus covers an area of 212 acres. There are a total of eight schools in MGAHV. A few of them are school of education, school of management, school of law, school of humanities and social science etc.

The university offers certificate, diploma, UG and PG degrees. CUET UG score is accepted for MGAHV UG admission and CUET PG score is considered for PG admission. The university believes in equal opportunity for all students. Thus, it provides merit and need based scholarships. For holistic development, students are offered summer internships and placement assistance is provided to final year students. MGAHV campus has a wide range of facilities such as a well stocked central library, modern classrooms, auditorium, cafeteria etc. The university also has student clubs that conduct various academic and cultural activities at the campus.

MGAHV Courses and Admission 2025

To apply for MGAHV admission, candidates first must meet the eligibility criteria determined by the university. Candidates can apply for admission in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The university accepts CUET UG and CUET PG scores for admission in UG and PG programmes respectively. As per the MGAHV admission procedure, after the CUET result is declared, a university level counselling is conducted. It is mandatory for candidates to participate in the counselling. Only candidates who participate in counselling are offered Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya admission. The application process of the university is online.

The university releases the cut off annually on its official website. MGAHV cut off is derived from CUET UG and CUET PG scores of candidates. It must be noted that applicants are required to meet MGAHV cut-off requirements to take admission in courses offered. The cut off varies for each programme and also as per category of candidates. Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya cut off contains CUET scores, category, candidates name etc. The university releases cutoffs for multiple rounds of admission. MGAHV cut off 2023 will be released after CUET UG and CUET PG results are announced. A university level counselling will be conducted during which the cut off for the academic year 2023-24 will be released.

The BALLB fee at Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV) is approximately Rs 1.5 lakh annually. The course is a five-year integrated course combining law and a Bachelor of Arts degree. The course is offered in English and Hindi. Admission to the BALLB course is based on the merit of the candidate in the 12th examination. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate of the 12th examination.
