In addition, the department invites eminent guest lecturers from the legal profession, such as Advocate Rajiv Kumar, Advocate-On-Record (Supreme Court of India), to talk and encourage future lawyers. The aim of these guest lectures is to familiarise students with the intricacies of legal discourse. The School of Law is also known for hosting prestigious national and international conferences on a regular basis to provide academic support to students. In November 2017, LPU hosted the National Conference on Cyber Law and IT Security. Coming to the placements, LPU grooms the students for a successful professional career by offering soft skills classes that offer guidance on how to face interviews, dress code, preparing an impressive resume. Professional grooming combined with strong academics has helped our students to get internships and placements with companies like MAP Legal Corporation, Manupatra & Co, Integrity Associates, LEGASIS, Thomson Reuters, Chandigarh Bottle, and Distilleries, Sumati Legal Corporation, SNT Control Limited, JLL India Limited, etc. The Alumni are working as Judicial officers, Legal practitioners, and Corporate advisors, and Civil servants.
