The cutoff has been stated in the closing rank form and only for the Open category. As per the official data, the Round 3 closing rank for Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai (Government College), and Government Dental College, Mumbai (Government College) are 43633, and 49333, respectively. Dear Student,

Mahatma Gandhi P.G. Institute of Dental Sciences (MDPGI) does not offer admission in MDS orthodontics. The college only offers Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) admission is following specilization:-

  • MDS in Oral Pathology & Microbiology

  • MDS in Oral Medicine & Radiology

  • MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

  • MDS in Periodontics

  • MDS in Prosthodontics and Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics

Eligibility Criteria:-

In order to be admitted to any of the following specilization candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria mentioned below:-

Admission Process:-

Every year MDPGI offer admission to Thirteen students in MDS course. The selection of domicile candidates will be done on merit basis, depending on the candidate’s performance in Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (PGDEE). 

At MDPGI  six seats of MDS i.e.50% will be allotted on All India Quota and will be filled by the DGHS (Director-General of Health Services) purely on merit basis. Remaining one seat will be reserved for NRI / Foreign students / NRI sponsored student, which is also filled through PGDEE.
