MCN BSc Admission

Shall have passed 2 years of pre-university examination conducted by department of Pre-university education, Karnataka State, with subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English (PCBE) taken together and must have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in all the four subjects individually.

Shall have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/Councils, Intermediate education established by state or central government and recognized as equivalent to 2 year pre-university examination by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences/ Association of Indian universities (AIU) with subjects of Physics, Chemistry ,Biology and English taken together in the qualifying examination with minimum of 45% of marks individually. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the candidates shall have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together in qualifying examination with minimum 40% of marks instead of 45% as above.

In case of candidates from stream of Vocational Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala; the candidate shall have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. In addition to the vocational subject (vide RGUHS Notification No. RGUHS/SEF/EC.B.Sc.Nsg/191/2005-06 dated 18.05.2006) taken together with a minimum of 45% of marks individually.

The Candidate shall have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Dear student, The GNM class in Mangala College of Nursing has started on August 1, 2023. The college has not yet released the official notification, but the tentative start date is mentioned on the college website. The college also offers a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB B.Sc. Nursing) course. The start date for the PB B.Sc. The nursing course is February 1, 2024. The application process for this course will start in October 2023.
