Library has a vital importance in teaching – learning process. It must maintain a well – rounded core and relevant collection that satisfy the specific needs of students and teachers. In the sense, Library of Matoshree Vimalabai Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya is one of the oldest libraries in Amravati region having rich collection especially on the subjects of Social science and Home science. Apart from general book collection library has bibliographies and clipping on various subjects and also bound volumes. The prime object of the library is to support the study and research needs of the students and the faculties of the college. It also serves the students, faculties and researchers from other institutions. It is kept open from 10:10 am to 6:15 pm from Monday to Saturday for users.
