Overall: Mewat Engineering College - this college needs a lot of improvement in lots of areas. They seriously need to work on their infrastructure, their campus placements, their hostel facilities and the way they advertise their college in the city. This college site across the Aravalli mountains and hence it's location is quite pious and serene but you go to college to learn something and not to sightseeing, so that's where this college struggles- not too many good professors, not many activities to do and it's just upto student at the end to do everything on his own.
Placement: Although the College website does promise 100% placement but that's just hoax. There's no campus placement in this college. Only 1 or 2 company come in this college just to take 1-2 student on a very very low salary. If you plan on taking admission in this college, better flex your own capabilities and be willing to put your own efforts and gain skills on your own and go for off campus placements.
Infrastructure: Mewat Engineering College is the only engineering college in the Nuh district. That's why many local students and some from the city come to study but the infrastructure is not at all college worthy. There are broken windows on 2nd and 3rd floors. The desks are all dusty and classrooms are like they haven't been in use for over an year. There is no canteen facility. The sports ground is good atleast. There's a cricket/football ground, a volleyball ground, a basketball court and a badminton court. Other than that, there's not much to look at in this college.
Faculty: The faculty in this college are all very humble and helpful. They also try to solve a student's query rather than turning him/her empty handed. They conduct various seminars and online classes to create industry awareness among the students. A few of the faculty still lacks some knowledge which is required to teach a college goer.
Hostel: There are two wings in the hostel but there is only one washing machine to use for 200+ students. The other washing machine is not working and no action was taken to repair it. The food quality is below average as I had my own health detoriated because of the food.
