MIT Academy of Engineering admission to BTech is through MHT CET counselling. The counselling for BTech in 2024 is expected to be conducted between June and August 2024. Students interested in BTech admission must score well in the MHT CET 2024 exam which started on May 02 and will end on May 17, 2024. MHT CET 2024 results in the second week of June 2024 (tentative). JEE Main scores are also accepted for MIT Academy of Engineering admission to BTech.
MITAOE admissions to M.Tech and B.Tech courses are controlled by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) Maharashtra. Class 12 or an equivalent exam with at least 50% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry as required courses is the minimum requirement to apply for a BE JEE Main or MHT-CET entrance exam scores are used to determine admission to the B.Tech programme at MIT Academy of Engineering.
Candidates with a diploma in engineering and technology or a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for candidates from the reserved category) are eligible for direct entry into the second year of the B.Tech programme. Candidates applying for the ME programme must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering or technology subject with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% along with a valid GATE score.
The MIT Academy of Engineering accepts applications submitted online. However, those applying for admission to the B.Tech and M.Tech programmes must sign up through the respective official websites for the MHT-CET/JEE Main and GATE exams. Given below are the steps to fill out your MITAOE application form:
Step 1: Visit the MIT Academy of Engineering's official website.
Step 2: Click ‘Apply Now’ under the ‘Admissions’ tab.
Step 3: Register for a new account by entering all the required information.
Step 4: Login and fill out the application form for the concerned course.
Step 5: An application fee of Rs 1,000 (Rs 2,000 for Computer engineering) must be paid online with a debit card, credit card, or net banking in order to finish the application process.
Step 6: Click ‘Submit’ after finishing the application.
Step 7: Save the application form for future use.
Once the application is accepted, students will have to register for the counselling and GD-PI rounds of interviews before receiving admission to MITAOE. The counselling sessions are live starting from June 1 and will be closed by August.
Passed the HSC examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with the following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured a minimum of 50% marks i.e. not less than 150 marks out of 300 marks (45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks for OBC candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together.
The candidate should have passed BE from a recognized university.
