Overall: Okay Listen….So first of all college is getting better year by year now lemme tell you some insides which you won't get to know from any answer on quora…College is good for you if you need time and don't want yourself to be bothered by college then talking about college faculties they are pretty much good not every faculty you got will be good but yeah quite acceptable then main problem occurs because of this city like man too..much temperature during summer and too much humidity during monsoon then there's a major problem of this college which is that this college have hostel for first year only and it's rent is also almost 90k-1 lakh and then PGs are also not so great you'll just have to compromise and mess are pretty average as well….No good cultural fest no regular sports tournaments no events just a normal boring college life with lots of free time
Placement: Various companies like Infosys, Wipro, L&T, Quikr, Tech-Mahindra, Amdocs, Accenture, Persistent, TCS, Capgemini, Sneijder, Glasgow, etc.came to our college. (110 Reviews) The thing that a student want from any engineering college is a placement in a multi-national company. (121 Reviews) Dislikes Placements are good for IT, CS and electrical branches, but for core branches like civil and mechanical, not even a single company visits our college for placements.
Infrastructure: How is the infrastructure of MITS Gwalior? How is life in MITS Gwalior? It depends on what you actually want. If you want to, 1. Study You can come to college for studies. The professors are actually good, and they're also helping and supporting. Library, laboratories and even canteen could be better place to indulge yourself in studies. 2. Curricular activities There are mainly 3–4 clubs, i.e. ISTE(Technical), Music club, Raashtray(Nukkad natak club), Editorial board(for your writing skills), which you could join for some extra curricular activities. There isn't that much scope for such activities as there's no culture and technical fest organized. But still you can join it for some good exposure in that particular field. Clubs have some finest people in it, so you can also give it a try if you consider yourself capable for it. 3. Sports If you're a hosteler then, you might get bored of playing cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball and chess also. We play volleyball at 2 AM and the volleyball court is in front of my hostel room. Huh! 4. Gaming In hostel, you just name the game. Install it. Play. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. CS and FIFA can't beat Mini Militia here. So be prepared Noobie! 5. Attendance May some people get to know about the attendance first time after reading this answer. Yes. It's heaven if you don't want to come college, but it will lead you nowhere if you're wasting your time. So, maintain a balance between the college(studies) and other activities. Professors, generally, consider them as good students, who got attendance. So, it'll help you in academics. 6. Girls and Boys I seriously don't know about the boys. But girls are really beautiful here. And then we got Acrhitecture department in MITS. ;) #BeautyWithBrains
Overall: College offers a while varity of subjects but lacks in functionality rest it has one of the best qualified faculties with good experience it has good infrastructure and a above average campus but not to expect much from campus life because there's hardly anything interesting going
Placement: This year was a bad one for evey college but overall mits has a decent placement record it depends on various factors such as the demand in market and ability of student to get selected but companies do comes for campus placement with expectations it's better to take college seriously and work on your skills to get selected
Infrastructure: It has a very defined infrastructure with specific floors and sections for diffrent departments but lacks in morden equipment most of the equipment is broken or is too old to operate
Faculty: Some facilities are just overqualified for the place while some has a very underwhelming way of teaching, but they are really interactive and helpfull they really help you understand the concepts and provides proper material for exams
Hostel: Girls hostel is upto 4th year but boys one is only till 1st year boys hostel is newly constructed the out time for girls hostel is 6:30 regular till 7 on Weeknds for boys hostel it's 7 on regular and 7:30 on Weeknds
